Follow the simple steps to Block or Unblock orkut on your personal computer >
Step 1 : Open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Step 2 : There you will find a file named HOSTS
Step 3 : Click on the file and press SHIFT and now right click on it . From the right click menu select Open with .
Step 4 : Now, select Notepad to open the file from the list !
Step 5 : Now, in the file under the line 127.0.0.1 localhost add another line 127.0.0.2 www.orkut.com
Step 6 : Now, File –> Save !
Now, open your web browser and try openning www.orkut.com , it will not load !
To unblock websites just do the opposite ! its simple just clear that added line and you will be able to surf that website.
