Google SMS Channels Temporarily Paused Due to Rise in Bulk SMS Costs

Google India SMS Channels team informed SMS channel owners that they are going to temporarily pause sending new SMS messages on Google SMS channels starting from November 9th 2012. They also announced that they use this opportunity to bring channel owners and subscribers more value using core Google products. This plan will be announced soon. 

Google SMS Channels team also appreciated SMS channel owners for their efforts to make the experiment  more successful than they expected. The data is safe and  current content is still available and accessible by users on the web as before.

I am a great fan of Google SMS channels from the beginning when Google lab India start to experiment this feature. I am also proud to own  a top SMS channel which has a huge number [485207] of subscribers. Google SMS channels were very useful for users that deliver latest News and updates on Mobile phone free. I have seen people from every walk of life using Google SMS channel effectively. It was a wonderful tool for Indian mobile users; once they  can't afford unlimited Internet data plans.
