The Wall Street Journal India launches Mobile News application

Dow Jones has launched The Wall Street Journal India Mobile application to Indian audience. The WSJ application provides real time updates with the latest Indian and international business and general news headlines, Indian stock market movements and commentary, stories on technology trends and lifestyle features as well as multimedia content.
It includes an exclusive tie-up with Indian employment web site Naukri.com for premium job seekers and hotel deals from Yatra.com, an Indian online travel agency.

This new Mobile application will be available exclusively to Airtel mobile customers during an initial launch period. The service can be downloaded free-of-charge by Airtel pre-paid and post-paid mobile users. Airtel mobile customers in India can download The Wall Street Journal India Mobile application by texting "WSJ" to 54321. The Wall Street Journal India Mobile application is currently compatible with a large number of Blackberry models and Nokia Smartphones. It will be extended to other handsets soon.
